Robert Grady Named NYBDC's 2014 "Lender of the Year."
SCNB Senior Vice President Robert Grady has been named 2014 "Lender of the Year" by New York Business Development Corporation (NYBDC). The award recognizes Grady's commitment to promoting access to capital for New York's small businesses.
Based out of the SCNB's Melville Commercial Loan Office, Robert Grady leads a team of lenders primarily serving the credit needs of middle market and small businesses in western Suffolk County and Nassau County. Grady has more than 25 years of banking experience and received his certificate of completion from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending at Bucknell University. He is a board member of the St. Charles Hospital Foundation and is also involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
NYBDC works in partnership with banks to provide various credit facilities to small businesses in New York State. NYBDC's objective is to find creative ways to meet the credit needs of businesses including participations, SBA guarantees and flexible terms.
